The Illusionist (The Illusionist)
next film , The Illusionist, is made from a script by Jacques Tati 1950, the famous French actor, and fits perfectly with the style of the animation carefully by Sylvain Chomet. The illusionist will be admired by all who are fans of old-style animation and will probably build the same kind of cult following that “Triplets” were.
Chomet’s style and humor that fits well with the style of Tati and how it produces the cartoons.
The Illusionist is set in the early 1950s and tells the story of a magician named Tatischeff, which is older. He travels with his Scotland magical. After a poor show in the Hebrides, he went to Edinburgh, where a young girl beaten execution young people he met on the road and friends.
Although Tatischeff has a difficult time making a living, he and the girl are good friends and a couple wonderful platonic. Of course, the public knows it will not last.
two Chomet and Tati’s characters are defined by looks and actions rather than words. There is very little dialogue. Tatischeff speaks French, his young friend spoke Gaelic, and sometimes it is also an emphasis in the new film. The audience learns the story through what is happening and by the gesture. The new film
release is a love poem to Scotland and Tati and his comedy. Chomet makes Scotland look like part of a dream. Dressed in radiant light
Tatischeff a MovieClip is in a movie house in Edinburgh. There is a very clear displays for the film “The Triplets of Belleville” on the wall. When the magician goes to the theater, he was on stage the audience sees the real Tati plays his alter ego Monsieur Hulot in the 1958 film Mon Oncle.
